SHE’S AN ACTOR AND A COLLEGE PROFESSOR!!

This summer I had the privilege of returning to UC-Irvine to teach Speech 101 at the Summer Scholars Transfer Institute (SSTI). This program is amazing!! It’s a partnership between UCI, Rio Hondo College (my school) and Santa Ana College. We move to the dorms for 10 days and we jump in with both feet! My students are amazing. Voice Over for Discovery Map in Estes Park, CO

Estes Park, Colorado has everything! It’s beautiful, it has got tons of great things to do and a day at Rocky Mountain National Park is a day well spent. Recently I recorded a voice over, produced by Nick Molle’ Productions, for Discovery Map International.  Discovery Map provides  colorful, fun maps which  give Estes Park visitors all the good scoop of where to go and what to do!

Colorado Lottery Commercial

Getting booked on a commercial or a TV show is the best day of the week! Not long ago, I booked a role in a commercial for the Colorado Lottery as a….wait for it…hand model! Who knew??

That’s the great thing about this business. From day-to-day you never know what you’ll get called in for and every audition, booking and on-set experience is a new adventure.

This particular commercial chronicles the history of Bingo in just 30 seconds!

Can you guess which hands are mine? If you said the black and white shots…well..BINGO!!

The one thing I know about acting is that it’s 90% marketing. I recently worked with an amazing photographer and together we created this bright and shiny postcard. So fun! Over the summer I’m working on my look, my marketing and gearing up for the big push once TV goes back to work after the Fourth of July holiday. My City!

Recently I had the opportunity to do a quick photo shoot and update my headshots. The shoot took place in an amazing converted loft in downtown Los Angeles.

As it happened, I had just moved back to Cali after a quick break in Denver, Colorado where I earned a masters degree in Alternative Dispute Resolution.

As I stood on the top of a building with the downtown skyline glowing from the setting sun, I thought OMG!! I’m so glad to be back!!!
